About

Considered, compassionate orthopaedic care.

Dr. Pritam Paul is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interests in trauma surgery, joint replacement, arthroscopy and sports injuries. He is committed to helping patients overcome pain, regain mobility and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Dr. Paul cares for patients across Berhampore, Domkal and the wider Murshidabad district, treating conditions ranging from fractures and complex trauma to arthritis, ligament injuries and degenerative disorders of the bones and joints. He completed his postgraduate training in Orthopaedics and has since pursued advanced training through the AO Trauma and AO Recon programmes, alongside an ongoing interest in education and research. Each treatment plan is built around the person in front of him — pairing modern surgical technique with genuine, unhurried care.

He also believes that good care begins with a good conversation. Dr. Paul takes the time to explain each condition and the choices for treating it in plain, everyday language, so patients feel informed and confident in the decisions they make — whether they are a young athlete, someone recovering from an injury, or an older adult living with arthritis. His goal is not simply to treat X-rays, but to help people return to their work, families and everyday lives with confidence.

"Restore movement, relieve pain, and improve quality of life."
